A quaint, quirky and very cosy find in the woods

PART HILLYBILLY ARTIST HERMITUDE, PART RECYCLED INDUSTRIA SCULPTURE, PART SCANDANAVIAN-ALPINE-SAUNA-CHIC. YOU COULD ONLY FIND A UNIQUE ‘PLACE’ IN REGIONAL VICTORIA, a bit arty, a bit alpine, a bit rugged, a bit refined, but relaxed ….(without any Melbourne pretence!!!)

Service is set within a circular atrium, with 1-half circle overlooking casual dining-drinks balcony the towering Mountain Ash forest by the Delatite River.
Centrepiece of this timber-lined dining room is a pendant-like suspended cast-iron open fireplace (above adult waste-height for child-safety*) creating warm, fuzzy, gentle-glowy feeling….essential after a day in the fresh alpine air!
Much of the building was artist-owner built with reclaimed industrial structural elements (of 20th century historical inudstrial significance to Victorians).

Comfort eating Summer, spring, autumn or winter, doesn’t get any better!
